I have been licensed to practice law in all Nevada state courts for over 30 years. I am also licensed to practice in all Federal courts in Nevada as well as all District of Columbia courts and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Prior to entering private practice, I held the positions of Chief of Legal Services and Associate General Counsel for the State Industrial Insurance System of Nevada (now known as Employer’s Insurance Group). Before this I was a District Court Law Clerk for the Honorable Miriam Shearing, now retired Chief Justice of the Nevada Supreme Court.
I received a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Idaho College of Law and a Bachelor of Science degree from Weber State University .
Prior to graduating from law school, I was employed as a Congressional Intern for the United States Senate in Washington, DC , as a legal Intern for the Idaho Prosecuting Attorneys Association, and as a Legislative Intern for the Majority Leader of the Utah House of Representatives.
I have served as the Workers Compensation attorney for the Channel 13 Ask the Expert program. I am listed in Who’s Who in American Law and Top Attorneys of North America. I am a member of the Nevada Trial Lawyers Association. I was selected and trained as a pupil in the Nevada American Inn of Court.
I am known for the personal attention I give to my clients. All cases are handled personally by me, not by a paralegal or associate attorney.
